Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fantasy Companion, including the mobile app and the website at thefantasycompanion.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Fantasy Companion is a companion app for viewing fantasy sports leagues, scores, and statistical projections. It reads your fantasy league data from Sleeper and presents it alongside public sports data and model-generated statistical projections.

It is a viewing and analysis tool. It does not host leagues, process entry fees, accept wagers, or facilitate betting of any kind.

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• One person per account. Do not share credentials.

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account in the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service, attempts to disrupt it, or violates these terms.

Projections shown in the app are the output of statistical models. They are estimates, they are frequently wrong, and they are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, or wagering advice, and you should not treat a projection as a prediction of what will happen.

Sports data and league data come from third-party sources. It can be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. Do not rely on the app as the authoritative record of anything — your league's own platform is that record.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or resell data obtained through the service.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
• Interfere with the service or place unreasonable load on it, including automated querying.
• Reverse engineer the app except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable by law.
• Use the service for anything unlawful.

Fantasy Companion is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, the NFL, MLB, the NBA, ESPN, or any team or league. All team names, league names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Your use of Sleeper remains governed by Sleeper's own terms. We access Sleeper data through their public API on your behalf, using the Sleeper username you provide.

The service is provided as-is and as-available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that data will always load. Third-party data providers go down, and when they do, parts of the app will not work.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fantasy Companion is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from decisions you made using information in the app.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
